Definition of Pet Wellness
Pet wellness is a type of insurance for non-urgent medical insurance of your pet. The non-urgent part in this definition will be understood more clearly when you read the coverages of pet wellness below. Pet wellness helps your pet keep a level of healthiness by providing your pet with periodical medical tests, examinations and with –if needed- medical applications.
What does a Pet Wellness Plan Cover?
As I stated earlier, a pet wellness plan covers non-urgent issues about your pet. A general pet wellness plan includes the following coverages;
- Teeth cleaning
- Dental check-ups
- Urinary Tests
- Prevention of unwanted insects etc.
What Does All These Mean?
As you can see in the coverage list of an average pet wellness plan given above, we can deduct that a pet wellness plan is created for non-urgent health issues of our pets. Compared with a car accident, teeth cleaning is a way too optional medical treatment. Thus, pet wellness includes more of optional health issues of pets.
